    I will just say, it's not about the product it's about scaling up and getting economies of scale.

    Legacy carmakers can sell their low volume EVs at whatever price they like as long they are not making hundred thousands of them. They just relocate profits from ICE to losses from EVs. But at some point they won't be able to this anymore.

    I know, from a customer perspective it's really good deal to get EV from legacy carmaker, they are making a loss on it, so in a sense buyer is getting added value.

    It will be interesting to see how someone like Mercedes will be selling 500.000 EVs per year and at what price.
