    That was a subtle joke, the info is available to everyone so there is no head start.

    Anyway, I think the capital return is already priced in. It's been announced so what form it takes is largely irrelevant. Whether it's a special dividend, a share buyback, a combination of methods or something else.

    I don't see any particular benefit among the different methods? Maybe someone with a finance background can chip in their thoughts here?
    A special div would be alright in the short term for those that hold for income and possibly attractive to traders whilst a buyback could positively affect the EPS could be attractive to those with a long term view.

    Just musings *shrug*

    What do you think small fry? Favour any particular method of capital return over another?
