JMO, I recently had a bit of spare time and looked at the meaning of "the internet of things". the answer was-poles,wires and sensors.It does concern me about the amount of intellectual people we are losing and whether there replacements are up to scratch compared to the smart old heads who can make a decision and were deal makers?AS Alfred marshal mentor to the great john Keynes once stated "economist - to produce both better ideas and in the end, a better world".
