In other words, the low is being made in advance of the 17 August results announcement and the final ACCC decision.
Why? Because this is the time right now of maximum uncertainty with those two things outstanding.
Once that is out, it wont fall further (even if in the results announcement, there contains a dividend trim of 2 to 4c) . It will do the opposite of now and that is to bounce and go up. That's how it works.
My opinion only. And I allow for $3.88 between now and then if need be.
