Tls can be broken up into 3 divisions. Fixed $20b Mobile $9b Tls purple/enterprise $8b. Equals current market cap of $37b.
Fixed is easily valued at $20b ,which formed the pasis for the nbn agreement ie a $1b pa cpi linked 30 year year lease which when all is taken into account the return is 5% .This figure is without nbn margin and is the figure thodey suggested and well before the continual roll out of tls business fibre and the conversion of 1500 exchanges to 1500 distributed data centres.
Tls purple/enterprise $8b figure is the figure tls put on tls purple.
That leaves tls mobile at $9b.penn spent approx $5b just upgarding the network.
This is what happens when quality unreplacable assets are badly managed.
Wont get into the sustainability of the div only to say nbn one off payments end 2022,penns FCF continues to trend down and is not FC'd and you must deduct tls's interest bill plus other charges from penns fy21 fcf guidance.
