It would be a real electoral benefit for Labor to jump out of the blocks and declare an NBN privatisation policy for the next election now. It would blindside the Liberals and get a million Telstra shareholders on side. One million voters, many of whom would not consider Labor. Its going to happen. Labor should get the jump now in the electoral cycle.
