I'd really like to know if the rules can be inconsistently applied to a merger and joint venture. Seems really like a very similar deal, but maybe the legalities happen to be different? In the end the ACCC is meant to look through the actual structuring of entities I suspect, with my extremely limited knowledge of competition cases
