My recent Belong internet connection is going well with reasonable speed (fibre to the curb). I got talking a little to the technician that come over. I asked him why it took 17 days to connect. His response was, "It is not that we are busy, the point is to leave the customer with the impression that we are important, making the customer wait achieves this".
Probably works to keep the customer too as the customer remembers waiting so long to be connected hence doesn't leave to another provider.
In all, took the techo about 15 minutes to connect and he was off. Wait 17 days for a 15 min job.
Certainly interesting techniques being used. CEO Penn might want to look into that on his salary and eliminate that bullshit so that citizens can get connected quicker.
Back to the charts, surprised at the very low volumes of late.
