It was not so long ago when these two Healthcare stocks were both riding the same rocket; now look at them...
CSL [at close 10/3/03] - $15.00 [and dropping anywhere between 50c and a $1 a day]
COH [at close 10/3/03] - $38.10 [and rising daily]
I understand all of the reasons why CSL has been belted to the extent it has [and most of those factors could turn around over the next couple of years].
My advice to anyone holding Cochlear shares would be to reflect on the charmed run this stock has enjoyed for such a very long time; those holding CSL shares, when it was trading at $50.00 plus, probably thought the rocket [and the good news] would just keep on keeping on.
It doesn't and it won't.
