There is a species of contract that may appear indefeasible and irrevocable at the outset. Given the nature and extent of mismanagement and damage to this corporation, negligent perhaps wilfull, I am able to see a valid argument for rescinding them or at least avoiding them.
Naturally the larger law firms who draft these and present them as 'cast in stone' have an interest in maintaing the myth.
Pretty and the rest can be made culpable in the end. But when you have leislative backing or at least government clout behind you then it is likely the government itself will ttempt o provide the 'fig' leaf to management in an attemtp to conceal its own shortcommings.
There must be public outrage first and the Lobbying must be hard before a precedent an be set.
