i have shares in a very sml but efficient,well managed Q&T steel producer,shares jumped today not because of carbon tax but because co announced it is moving its very respected technology to china to jv with a german built,chinese owned top ten chinese steel producer.just another quality company leaving australia because of ridiculous decisions like the carbon tax.Rather than spend the 36b plus on doubling up of broadband provision in metro areas they should b providing incentives for manufacturers,agriculture,r&d etc.but dreamer is right we will b a very clean country no industry due to taxation and production expenses and when mining boom over what industries will b left or viable
