Just to show where I'm cheating and where I'm not: dashed lines were on previous charts I've posted. Solid lines are new. The thick solid blue line at the bottom is an attempt to draw a new long term support line now that the previous one (dashed blue line) is broken.

Solid green line is currently resistance and TLX tried to break out of the wedge but didn't have the strength. TLX is often contrary and volatile, so today's breakdown may not end up being the real deal- for all we know it could come roaring back on Monday. Maybe this is just a "higher low" which would be fine, so a drop below $9.00 would definitely be a sign of weakness. Ideally it would keep above the new thin blue trendline, if not I'd rather watch and see how things play out ("I have no clue what's going on" is perfectly respectable T.A.).

just wondered how you calculate the new support line? I can get the low in mid October, but are there any other reference points you’re using?
