I overlaid a 5 day chart between NEU and TLX. Ever since NEUs big announcement last week there’s been a negative correlation between it and TLX, notably today. So whether it’s a hot money fund rotating out of TLX to chase NEU, or just a straight pairs trade, there’s a clear relationship there.
So nothing fundamentally sinister from TLXs side, just short term hedge fund positioning.
