A major problem was Hong Kong had restrictions to mainland China for period of time last year
also, the daigou and CBEC go hand in hand where the marketing on the wechat and other social media which the daigous relies on, also drive traffic thru these CBEC websites.
im expecting that the discounting on CBEC is temporary to de stock their older product and when travel restrictions ease again, a more normal pricing strategy would re-appear.
