Maybe you could gain optimism by explaining your comments here "My question still stands after trying to make sense of this horriblly mashed together thing" with some citation expressions that make more sense and validate your comments.
Additionally for you info you may wish to consider one small part of OGP's modelling for example what is a Langmuir Curve? what information does it give, and does his modelling look at this part in his kind offer to educate you [and me]?
Find it on the other thread. Here is a picture of it and some comments for you. See if you can find his plots in this regard with the TMK LF results which are "horriblly mashed together" only for those that do not study this extensive modelling.
