Vanadium will get an uplift from a falling iron ore price as there is no need to blend Chinese ore containing vanadium with Overseas iron ore when iron ore prices are high.
The Australian / Brazil high grade ore which doesn’t contain vanadium will feed direct to the mill and require primary vanadium production to make ferro alloys.
Hence why we are now seeing an uplift in the V price now that iron ore under $100 per tonne.
there was always going to be a proving period until all the V inventory got used.
