Do you have any theories on why?

Is it even relevant any more if they merge?

Assuming they believe the merger will happen, would they would be proposing it in order to do a sneaky raise before any merge?

Is it better for the merged entity to raise as much as possible before merging rather than after for some reason?

Is it just a backup in case the merger doesn’t go ahead knowing that it will likely be a year with a lot of capital required for plant etc. as things progress?

(Sorry for the million questions. Just spitballing)
