Hi Handy the word ‘downright’ misleading came from
1)the lack of clarity that it was a private group seeking personal information in this thread and
2) the inferences that retail shareholders needed to join in order to have their interests represented.

Not everybody is as market aware as LewisB and his ilk but this does not make them peanuts!
As the
official company notices have informed
ALL shareholders, an independent expert’s review will be provided opining on the fairness (or otherwise) of the proposal before the vote is taken.
I won’t join the group thanks. Apart from anything else I don’t want strangers to have access to my private details. Also I have stated my opinions in regards the proposal on HC.
A) - I believe the major shareholder, RCF, is protecting
all shareholders interests as well as its own, especially as TMT has been unable to find any other financial backers and appears to have lost an important and long standing MOU regards offtake with Chinese company CNM.
Plus costs have increased enormously since the last study in 2019!
B) I believe any assessment of TMT value should be considered in the light of the price of AVL on September 25 when the deed was announced.
Again, I believe the AVL shareprice may have been massaged down to provide the best entry terms for the most powerful shareholder RCF. (And ‘ordinary retail!)
To support this theory I’ll cite:
- the series of positive announcements this year at AVL (including building an electrolyte plant due to start producing next month with the announcement of offtake deals expected soon)
- the way shorting increased at AVL up until the day of the merger announcement and has since that day fallen off quite dramatically no matter what the spot price of vanadium.
However I will wait on the INDEPENDENT EXERTS’ REVIEW before any final decision on how to vote.
