Where Transol first acquired the Cambodian assets in April 2007! Soil sampling was done way back then and to what good purpose? Soil sampling was also done by Great Australian Resources, so much so that many of the maps presented later by TNC still had the GAU name on them.

So what's been done in the last three and a half years? Another joint venture and a disposal of asset for someone else to have a play in the clay.

Don't hold your breath. This is a story of tenements that has been doing the rounds for a number of years, yet for very good reasons, there are impasses. Research in to the Cambodian lifestyle and modus operandi of bribery and corruption and you will have a better idea of why these things will never take off.

On top of that there is a lot of theft that goes on in the tenements by the locals. Theft which cannot and will not be policed by the likes of Liberty or anyone else. Talk to Richard Stanger and you'll have a better understanding of what goes on in Cambodia.
