Yes, new things take time, it's not a simple DSO operation folks.
The Sydney Opera House was also breaking new ground (pun?) and took 14 years to build. Beautiful on the outside but a mess on the inside because the government sacked a brilliant architect and replaced him with government architects. A witch-hunt with a very sad ending.
