Who is to say at what point in the timeline the request for 2/3rds of the Board seats was made in this event. Two thirds does suggest that they were prepared to have some existing members stay on.
I view the offer from CMT as a forward looking view of what the future composition of the Board could look like, not one looking in the rear view mirror.
