Ref : your post
The para commencing "It should be noted" could have been omitted from the email sent to you.
However it does serve a purpose when the following information is to be conveyed . . .
1) the post removal was taken under advice
2) that advisor is thought to be a certain class of person
3) that class of person is regulated under law by a regulator
4) the regulator has not been informed, so may not have assessed compliance
5) the author has information available
You know what to do.
