There are a couple of reasons why people will dismiss your concerns (though I'm sure we're all daunted by the capex number).

Firstly, if the refinery can't be built in Darwin, it will be built in Malaysia as originally planned. Probably cheaper there but NT wanted the jobs.

Secondly, the process is being guaranteed by our partners and builders of the plant, SMS.

Thirdly, the reason SMS want to provide product guarantees is that they want to build this TIVAN plant so that they can sell more of them as retrofits. Which is where the upside is for TNG.

So forgive the long termers here for not jumping on another newcomming 'this will never happen' post.
I've heard it all and I've done my share of negative posts. But this year we will know. EIS is in (waste water already dealt with - keep up NT News) and FEED from SMS due any day. At least wait for those before you tell us we're doomed.
