• tycons is finalizing the definition of titanium dioxide pigment plant
• we are now going into freezing the scopes and defining the final project execution strategy
• which is all a matter of a couple of more months but we will beready to to execute soon

This bit was interesting re: the iron reduction process - pretty simple when it's explained like this - noting fossil fuel combustion is a chemical process

• the first step after the mechanical pre-concentration of this ore is a roasting step where we aim at reducing around 80 percent of the iron into its metallic form so we have to get rid of the oxygen atoms
• we can do this by combining them with carbon then we have carbon dioxide - this is not desirable
• now we are replacing that step by taking away the oxygen atoms from the iron oxide atoms by combining them with hydrogen
• then the emission is not co2 but h2o - so it's steam, it's water
• this is pretty climate neutral this is the the story behind the introduction of hydrogen into the TIVAN process

The Kulgera deposit could be interesting also as this would be TNG/SMS branching out into Mineral sand separation which is where a lot of the Titanium Dioxide produced comes from. If they prove TIVAN is economical on this type of concentrate, lots of opportunities for TIVAN add on facilities to existing brownfield plants open up.
