Of the directors named in yesterdays General Meeting, only Dr Robinson has a resounding shareholder support (70%) and a clear mandate for his directorship. I had the pleasure to meet Dr Robinson in person yesterday and I am confident that he will bring much needed expertise, accountability, integrity and oversight to a board in much need of these attributes. I wish to thank Mr Wilson for your change campaign. Your drive, passion and enthusiasm for the project, the NT and support for all shareholders is remarkable. In addition, thankyou to Paul Brown, Bruno Dimasi and Charles Cheah for your great contribution to effecting significant director and management changes. As companies travel through different development cycles, so do the required skill sets of directors and managers change. TNG needs to keep the momentum for change and renewal created by Mr Wilson and the CMT as a primary responsibility so that entitlement never occurs. Let's hope this is a new beginning for TNG.
