Look at any director that has left on their own terms. Biddle, Evans, Wang and Xu all departed and cut ties with the company which you would expect for the resignation of a director.
Let's now look at the inner circle.
What do you know - Turkington a TRT director and you are promoting a consultancy position.
- Eddie Fry (TNG director 2006-2011) - has been a paid consultant since resignation and a current TRT director.
- Geoffrey Crow (TNG director 2011-2018) - indefinite paid consultant and a current TRT director.
Do shareholders need another paid consultant drawing $80k a year for being called on when required, just because he's had 8 years experience as a NED.
He's ultimately the same skill set at Crow.
If TNG need financial consulting, use Gresham or SMS Finance who are large corporate groups that have actually delivered many times over on large projects.
Let’s now look at Rex’s career on publicly available information
1. 92-95 - Worked for Ords (client adviser)
2. 5 year break in listed Linkedin profile - perhaps education
3. 00-05 - Work for a loss making broker house (Tolhurst) that was taken over post GFC by Patersons.
Current – MD South Pacific Securities Pty Ltd – this is not even a Limited company as if suggested on Rex’s Linkedin profile. There is no website to verify what it does or who the clients are or what size those clients are.
His profile as per TNG website and as per statement in the NOM are of no substance. There is no tangible statements about outcomes for his advisory appointments or what he has advised on, just headline statements. He likes the use of the word 'extensive' so surely he can fill us in on all the deals he's been part of and the ASX clients he's advised. Tell us who he's advised on IR so we can go and see how their programs are run and if that has translated into successful capital raising and positive SP appreciation.
Compare it to Durack's who names and explains outcomes and for what entities. His gives some sense of his capabilities.
Look at this situation commercially.
