Yes.
They’ve damaged it beyond repair perhaps. A fundamental reason why I took a position here was because I was convinced that this stock wouldn’t be prone to those sorts of unscrupulous activities, but alas, I was clearly wrong!
What I’ve noticed from past experiences though is unfortunately these types of manipulation don’t simply cease if there’s an initial rerate of sorts. Am now definitely contemplating whether to sell into the news when JORC drops and move on elsewhere.
For me, the frustration of having to put up with this type of convoluted trading actually outweighs the potential LT benefits the stock could experience in shareholder value/wealth.
