Tnr options are 2c. You can find the strike in Tnrs announcments or the asx.
The price on exercising is not the price of the share when you buy them as its a fixed strike when issued.
There are not 100 shares in each option. 1 option equals 1 share.
If you bought 100,000 options, on conversion, you get 100,000 shares.
So you buy 100,000 for 0.9 today, cost is $900, you exercise, tipping in 2c, $2000.
You end up with 100,000 shares for 2.9c or $2900
Exchange traded options are generally 1 option to 100 shares, ie bhp, westpac.
Never touch those ones as there not for new capital and are generally shorter term.
