Its too late now but CNN were masters at this - issuing new options to existing option holders at 0.1c with an additional 12 months and same or higher conversion. However TNR needed to start a lot earlier than now.
Have suggested this to RAU and a few other pennies in the past but I guess for some it may not be worthwhile.
