This doesn't look like manipulation to me, just a type of selling. If you want to buy or sell large volumes there are brokers who will do it for you in this way, spread out into many small trades over time. The selling didn't seem to be strategic or in response to buys, it wasn't pushing the last trade price figure down. Today's total volume was quite low anyway.
I definitely agree that there has been some blatant manipulation over the last 6-8 months or so, and some of it in the last few weeks has been absolutely blunt and harsh and blatant, and pretty clearly that's to facilitate accumulation at low prices (which I've gleefully piggybacked on! Fantastic opportunity IMO!) but I just didn't see it being applied today. Those little trades aren't necessarily manipulation, and they're quite transparent.
