I have a different view. From an advertising theory perspective, by spacing out the announcements a little over a sustained period of time, TNT increases its chances of a) getting noticed by the general public, b) being remembered by the general public and c) being purchased by the general public.
I guess the next question is, what sort of investor will drive the price up? Day traders? General public investors? Instos? All of the above?
