TNT really needs to appoint someone focussed on Investor Relations.

The Chair and CEOs have been carrying this task till now, but clearly they have a lot more on their plates now that TNT has grown so much.

Alex and her Marketing team were lending a hand, but they will now be flat out with the rebranding.

Other shareholders have noted that many companies have market capitalisations well above what is warranted by their fundamentals. Clearly they manage the perceptions of their company extremely well in a professional and coordinated manner.

So it's time for a gun at Investor Relations to be appointed to ensure the market is fully and factually informed at all times. Not to say the Chair and CEOs shouldn't play a part; they must. But I feel the ball has been dropped.
