Charting is often somewhat dubious, even when experienced people are genuinely doing their best (I'm not claiming to be anything of an expert, at best I just dabble), but part of the problem here is that there are posters deliberately posting misleading nonsense. It's unfortunate to have this happening, because some people will be unable to differentiate between genuinely worthwhile posts from experts, genuine attempts from novices (like myself), nonsense from people who have no idea what they're doing despite doing their best (some may put me in this category!) and people deliberately being misleading (which we've seen an unfortunate amount of lately).

But, regardless, if you have no interest in charting, a chart discussion thread is no doubt going to be pointless for you!
