The index has a few conditions, it's not up to them to choose to wait, we probably just didn't meet one of the criteria.
also everything else has been slow to rise again after this mornings shock why is it insane to think there's accumulation
portfolio managers will approach brokers with a price target, the broker needs to maintain an average price, if there a huge shock and still big orders to fill they'll gobble up as much as they can. If the price goes too Far from their target they'll slow down buying till it drops again.
i think this morning was a good sign to accumulate at these levels, re rate in medium to long term
