Thanks for the comprehensive reply mate,! I knew that i was asking the right bloke..!!

My trading is strictly confined to resource stocks,,i buy nothing else. I currently have 163 stocks on my daywatch list and they are pre-culled to a selection criteria...Here's the interesting thing.....

I see people complaining on a regular basis that their stock is trading at an " undervalued " SP,, never hear anything about when it's trading at an over valued or inflated SP of course...But in reality, and in any given 12 month period, ALL of the 163 stocks will trade , for the majority of the time, in one or both these areas,, and for only the minority of that period, will actually trade at the real "accountancy" valuation of the company..

IMO.. one of the main contributing factors to this syndrome is " market sentiment ".. It's the driver !!

We have gained some positive " sentiment" from the Acorn Capital Limited investment..
I personally agree with "Jimmy " on this, in that i don't give half a diddly, what they think of the company, as my opinion was formed before i layed down my money.!!
HOWEVER,,, the market does.. and that's where any positive sentiment will come from !!

It appears to me that Acorn have been putting some business in AZZ's direction since 2001, but certainly less than 1mill shares all up !! They are a management company that specialise in companies that are NOT in the top 250,,, and advise super schemes about investment in same, and the registered holder ends up being National Nominees, or JP Morgan, and the like, so the paper trail is really THICK, if your trying to track down where it all came from..!!
One thing is for sure, and that is , at least 8mil have been acquired since 1st November 2006, and although it is possible that they got them from another major share holder....i doubt it very much !!

So this is the second positive thing that we get out of this, as it will indeed have the effect that you correctly point out in your coments above !!

The broker question,that i asked, was also all about pending market sentiment.
Again, i'm not fussed on these guys..,, BUT the market does care a great deal what they think....

The waiting for results has been a tad frustrating for all of us, however, it does appear to me that it's working in our favour, because it's giving the market the necessary time to absorb all the pluss moves, and to build a positive sentiment, to match the results achieved by the company.

We don't want to reach an SP of $2-00, and at the same time , have the SP undervalued by $1-50 !!!!
