Something that worries me is that volumes on a lot of my favourite trading shares have dried up to the point where they're no longer viable for short-term trades. Not enough liquidity. The list of shares I track gets shorter each week.
That said, I tend to view the prevailing gloom as a contrarian indicator that better times are drawing nearer. Just got to ride out the storm, fellas.
