Good sport a Murray Cod but little else and taste similar to a fresh water Barra.
Now a Salty Barra! well there is little better to be had.
Carp: well if you catch one you are supposed to kill it and not return it to the water. Considered a pest in QLD. Sorry for the Greenies “dispose of it thoughtfully” I have no idea what that means other than kill and bury it. If you want to hug it and save it in your fish tank I believe you are welcome. I may look similar to the gold version however it tends to consume them.
