Mentioned Apex because I'm familiar with it. The prices from last year seem insane now, but I was happy enough to buy above 20c at the time. Based on the DFS it looked good. I see AXM issued another 250m shares today at 2c.
You'll know this, but I'll mention it for the benefit of others. With complicated ore the conditions often have to be just right, at each stage, to get the recoveries. Fine control of test samples is fairly easy. That fine control is much more difficult when things are scaled up to commercial scale. New subtle variables can also intrude.
Suddenly things don't look so hot.
I've been a desk jockey for some time now, but I know how unforgiving mining is. I made this mistake even with the benefit of gold mining experience. Been well worth the lesson since then.
