Pinto, I agree wholeheartedly, I am one of those folks who cant read the quarterly to save my life, I think you have hit a good point with temporary underwater SP, this is psychologically easy to swallow on a company that pays dividends, but the mind works different on a stock that has been bought solely for capital gains. Maybe the stock will go lower yet, but IMO any weakness should be pounced upon as a marvelous oportunity to average down.
I reckon the likes of JP Morgan selling gold equities recently has been a big reason why the market is spooked, is it just a short term play or is the bond market ready to collapse? If CW quit his day job he could probably tell us the answer :) (just kidding)
