Yeah but, sure but, no but! I'm an optimist by nature but it's not blind optimism and nor is it blind wishful thinking. It's optimism guided by hard cold realism. I don't like Chinese business practices. Nor do I like their flagrant disregard for international law. As I write this I'm watching a program on Chinese so-called "artists" copying Van Gogh paintings. That's what they do. Their political and social system does not allow for experimentation of thought, thinking outside the square, or creativity. Silicon valley on the other hand, is a product of free thinking, of entrepreneurship born of freedom. It could never have happened in China where following rules and orders and towing the party line is the paradigm. And so, they rip off the ideas of the west. That's all they can do. They know it, and they know that's the only way they can rise as a power. Jinko will not be a saviour for GSL It may actually be their demise. I wouldn't trust them with the proverbial forty-foot pole and I clearly remember Richard saying how he used to turn off his computer at night to protect the IP from a Chinese hack attack. Yet, he is jumping into bed with the Chinese. GSL should be exploring the US for investors. The US economy is starting to boom and they have integrity and respect for the law. $ 30 million to get them to commercialisation ought not be a big ask but I don't think they are following the real money. The money is in the US. Tasnee, (Arabs), Turkey and the Chinese seem to me to be scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of partners. Erdogan is a dictator and is proving himself a poor economic manager. Anyway, thirty-six days overdue from a stated funding conclusion is not a good look and it goes on and on with no word unless as we were told, there are an awful lot of "i"s to dot and "t"s to cross. Just don't think that's the whole story and we, as owners of the company, at whose expense they have got this far, are told nothing. Here sadly, I think no news is bad news!
