To buy more or nor to buy more, page-56

Someome posted a question for me about what was better, to have held CSL or to trade it over the long run. That post has gone missing. I think it must have been moderated. But i will answer that anyhow. In hindsight just buying CSL and holding would have been more profitable. But that is not the point. If everyone knew it would be around $90 now. Then no one would have sold. That is the great thing about hindsight. It is easy to say after that fact what was best to do. But at the time it is a very different thing. That said i have still made a lot of money going short and long CSL over the years. The brokerage of course does mount up. But i have made a lot more profit than brokerage anyhow. Like i said in another post. Out of 50 stocks, you might get one that is the next CSL. So you still have 49 duds. If you just bought and held them. You would probably have done all your cash by now. One great gem out of 50 duds is not my idea of the reason to invest. Your still gambling or guessing. I prefer to trade rather than invest. I have done this for a long time now. It works. I am making money and happy.
