    Thats somewhat true. A lender would prefer a company to keep trading rather than liquidate it, but they will always help themselves first, and ord holders will be last on the list to benefit.

    For example: the particularly punitive terms of current bridge loan.

    The company may keep trading, but share holders may be wiped out substantially or almost completely. Seen it happen before several times.

    At the mercy of banks is not a place you want to be.
