Movements in Underlying Fundamentals = Change in Price

OCO = Improving fundamentals; improving sp
AMP = Deteriorating Fundamentals; deteriorating sp (now to turn around)

If you think you can just gloss over an annual report and think "geez they are doing well" and then buy at a discount you are sadly mistaken.

To put it into your dated finance terms. "NPV Analysis" -Sunk costs (Irrelevant to Calculation). Now here's a new term for you: Co prospects "going forward"

I don't see why a company with fundamentals can't also prove to be speculative. BHP billion dollar losses a while back had to render it in hindsight as possessing : fundamentals/speculative. As the dinosaurs grow they to must embrace escalating risks in order to generate further/new cashflows.
