A trial would have received far more coverage as witness testimony was sensationalised by the media day after day, there was the risk the presiding Justice dished out criticism on the conduct of the company and no doubt, would attract some political response as well. This is a no liability settlement and buries it for good. I like it.

I think a 10% rise on what was a bloodletting for the ASX today is a pretty convincing response from the market. Volumes more likely to increase tomorrow as the news is digested which will give us more of an idea where we are headed. Some positive news from the UK would really see this fly as the business is in good shape here.
