    The other major issues, according to Burns, are:
    • To have the ABG to ‘formally announce support for BCL as developer to re-open the mine’;
    • To renew the mine lease: ‘we need secure tenure’;
    • To reserve land needed for the project;
    • To provide safe and secure access to the mine site.
    • For both governments to work together to re-open the mine as shareholders and regulators;
    • For the Bougainville government to agree to work with BCL on mine development.

    Seems point 1 is resolved, let´s hope we get some positive news when they address the other topics of the to do list. It really seems to me that most envolved parties really want to make some progress.
    I guess the transfer of the shares of Rio to PNG/AGB really marks the watershed in this investment case.
    Let´s hope for some further good news!
