EXTENSION OF CLOSING DATE FOR OFFER UNDER THE SHARE PURCHASE PLAN

In a letter dated 23 August 2002 I advised you that the directors of
Pinnacle VRB Limited had established a share purchase plan (Plan) and
were making an initial offer (Offer) under the Plan to Australian
registered Shareholders. (Please refer to that letter for further
details.)

The Offer was scheduled to close at 5.00pm Melbourne time on
Wednesday 25 September 2002 (Closing Date). However, your directors
have decided to extend the Closing Date to 5.00pm on Wednesday 9
October 2002. (Extended Closing Date).

Please ensure that your completed Offer and Acceptance Form together
with your cheque are received by Pinnacle VRB Limited, C/-
Computershare Investor Services Pty Limited, GPO Box 52A, Melbourne,
Victoria 3001 in the reply paid envelope previously provided by
5.00pm on the Extended Closing Date.
