The shareholder who asked got a lecture from the MD on why they ought not to do a share buyback - “capital is precious.”

I was tempted to shout out “a share price of 40c is more precious” or “if the share price stays between 30-35c for the next year because there is no share buyback, then we might be attending your last precious AGM now”.

because everyone generally was polite, maybe the board will take up the different ideas offered and combine them and tell the world it is their own great idea - eg sell 1% of Dorado to get a real valuation of Dorado, and then use to proceeds to conduct a share buyback.
