The issue that has got my feathers ruffled is from a poster whom attended the AGM and advised that the chairman (????) stated there is no guarantee that Buffalo 10 will be drilled in 2020 - now that is a long way from a drill in 2019, delayed unto 2020 due to the treaty delay etc.
I have issue with that comment (if true, as I wasn't there) for:
- that is a major change of plans (to every other announcement)
- the board at best is there to sign off on & oversight strategic plans
- it's job is not to run the tactical business plans, that is the job of management
- AC should have told the chairman to sit down, shut up & stick to his knitting.
If I was the CEO I would be absolutely pissed off by the board's interference in day to day management.
