for a three to four well drilling program that is expected
to commence in May 2018. The strategy is to focus
on opportunities that can be developed quickly from
existing facilities with minimal incremental opex,
therefore offering high capital productivity, robust
returns and rapid cashflow payback.
An attractive Thai operating environment and fiscal
terms leveraging existing infrastructure, knowledge and
relationships makes incremental brownfield investment
at Manora strategically and financially compelling.
Potential targets include the high value, but relatively
higher risk, Manora “Footwall”, the highest fault
block on the Manora structure. Furthermore, up-dip
development and appraisal opportunities exist around
the successful MNA-18 development well, which was
drilled in late 2017.
