The location is irrelevant, diligent. but yes, rape is often difficult for the woman/girl to prove due to the complexities of establishing said proof. Did you know that there can be a dozen eye witnesses and if the victim fails to report the incident to the police - no action will be taken? That's just one complexity, which is a failure of the current law, given said rapist will often be a repeat offender.
